Join GVSU’s Milton E. Ford LGBT Resource Center for a trans empowerment assembly to kick off Trans Week of Visibility 2025! There will be staff, student, and community speakers. With special guest, Justine Lindsay! Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Justine debuted as the first trans woman NFL cheerleader for the Carolina Panthers in 2022. After the assembly, the group will head up to the second floor of the Kirkhof Center (room 2263) for food and community conversations.

Eligibility: We realize that there are many groups & events in this city that are Trans-friendly while not being explicitly Trans-centered. To keep this calendar a bit more focused, for the time being we will only post events that are Trans-centered or LGBTQIA-centered. Events should take place in West Michigan.
