TRANSportation Program

 

About this Program

Our TRANSportation Program provides FREE transportation-related support to the local Trans & Nonbinary community. Currently, program support is limited to renewable monthly bus fare (The Rapid) and Uber rides (for specific appointments that are not accessible via other methods).

In the future, we hope to expand into carpooling coordination, bicycles (paired with helmets, lights, & locks), gas gift cards, driving lessons, and plane flights to access gender-affirming care. 

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  1. Be a Trans and/or Nonbinary person.
  2. Either 1) live in KENT COUNTY, MI, or 2) live outside the county but need help accessing transportation to medical appointments, work, or other support systems within Kent County, MI.
